• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE630 Workshop Manual & Parts Catalogue.

Hey jtemple I feel left out could you hook a brother up? TE 630 manual? Pretty please?
Thanks? O.

Hi jtemple;
If you still have that available I could really use a copy of that manual as well. Thanks in advance...

A public thanks for the manuals jtemple. Saved me some money as I did I my own service today using the shop manual.

I now have a Google Drive account. The Husky docs have been moved and can be found here:

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B87JGKEoBQdza3R1N19wVV92YWM

That should be a lot simpler than FTP and eliminate the need for all this private message nonsense.

Feel free to go in there and try it out; let me know how it works!

Note: If you're Johnny-On-The-Spot, as of this moment, they are only about half done uploading. So, some stuff will be missing.

jtemple, Thank you for for helping the community. On the new google docs page, idk if it's just me, but there is no option to scroll up/down or side to side. So some files are not viewable.

Are you talking about the folder list on the left? There's no option to change how wide that is. The best I can tell you is to scroll up & down on the main window in the middle, click on a folder and see what's inside, or hover over the folder and the full folder name will pop up in a tooltip. The folders and files are named in such a manner that the file names are what models the documents cover.

I don't have any control over the design; only the contents.

I'm actually kind of surprised that there's no search box on that page, considering that Google drops a search box on just about everything they have.

If it's a huge problem, I can easily move the stuff back to FTP. My intent is to save everyone from having to jump through hoops to get the files.

Thanks for taking the trouble jtemple - I've been needing a 630 workshop manual and parts book and you've saved my bacon. Cheers!
