    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

The AMA MX season - 2015

Seems this MX season is a little stacked again towards some pretty good racing ... I don't see how RD5 (Ryan Dungey) is not the favorite, but KR94 (Ken Roczen) is the defending champion. There is more than 1 angle on KR94 since he has left the ktm fold last year and his racing on the SUZ now. Somewhere squeezed in there is ET3 (Eli Tomac) ... There is a 4TH rider, TC41 (Trey Canard), who is coming off an injury but is gonna stick his nose in there also. Looks like a toss-up to me for the championship...

WP23 (Weston Peick) could surprise maybe ... He's an unknown rider to me but his efforts in the SX racing speak loudly... Might be over looking someone but that top 4 riders mentioned above are not gonna lay over for any rookies...

Myself, I'm riding with the Husqvarna riders, Anderson and Pourcel. They are my Husky Bros currently.

I've saw nothing on TC41 rehab so I guess he is healing ok... He's missing MX seat time testing that the other riders have been doing for how many weeks now and will be in full swing very shortly ... So he is behind to some unknown degree ... The first few weeks of the season will go a long ways for his title hopes .. If he can hang at the beginning, he'll catch up on the seat-time and adjustments to his bike as needed during the first part of the season ... Even under these conditions, if he wins this title, it will not be a big surprise to many.

IF my memory is correct, he rode very well at the end of the MX season last yr... Seems he said he tossed the showa forks for KYBs? Then this sx season he rode well until that crash ... It's like he has not had a complete injury-free season yet ...
 
i would bet on Dugee early for the reason he does well outdoors and he is riding well right now
one good get off and all bets are off, but for now he is the smoothest rider and they built a new bike for this year and it suits him well
there is a 250 KTM rider that moved up and he is smooth too, smooth translates to lap times
