  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Trailtech Vector mount on the Husky TE250 -08

turbo100

Husqvarna
AA Class
Hello,
I bought the trailtech vector as a replacement for the stock odo.
Now I am quite unsure how to install the magnet for the speed sensor.
I understand that there are two options, one to replace the bolt holding the disc in place and another to use the small magnet and epoxy-glue it in to a hole in the disk.

Is there any tip around here for how to do it smartest?

I just use the stock magnet and pickup, splice the Trailtech wire into the stock wire by the handlebars.

hi there I have a wr300 I fitted a trailtech vapour .the husky speedo wire pluged straight into the trailtech with no splicing required. so i did not need to use the tailtech magnate and wire . just plug and play hope this helps .

I should just buy one of the trailtechs and quit waiting around for Husky to tell me how to set up my replacement dash. I'm sick of not knowing how fast or how far I'm going.

Hi,
the problem in my case is that everything from stock has been removed so I have to use the trailtech magnets.
I bought the kit for inverted forks and i didnt feel any of the two magnetic bults really fitted my disk, So i go for gluing the small one in to the predrilled hole.

Hello,
I tried to get the trailtech magnet/sensor to fit my bike but I gave up.
I ordered the stock magnet&sensor and hopefully it will fit my vector..
