  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Vintage Husky Helmet and Visor Decal

Friday was a good day. Second helmet showed up at the office at quitting time. Full face Bell Moto 4. Glad I stuck around the office late. Pulled the interior liner and gave it a good cleaning, cleaned and polish the exterior surface and some repo stickies - all good and I'm stoked.

Seriously though, that looks sweet. I am rethinking my Moto 4 again now.

Came out real clean/shiny w/ some ............. don't laugh............ Turtle Wax chrome polish. Took out all the stains and small scratches. Keep this a secret b/c I like the exclusivity of the sticky but, Art (Hwy) is "Privateer Racing". Just one of the bugs around this house that I could get to sit still for 5 minutes. 1 out - 3 to go. All girls.

Pull that dang thing off the shelf, get a new visor for it (yellow would be cool on your yellow moto4 - trust me), buy up a sticker set before they are all gone and put that thing to use. You'll love the look. You will be an instant hit with all the girls, your buddies will be sick w/ envy and most importantly, you will be 5 seconds a lap faster**************************************** or never hit another tree****************************************. GUARANTEED!!! for life. (small print (there always is some) - certain exception do apply)

1. All 4 H's in originl wrap and good to go so am gonna get them copied
Blue, white, yellow and black (may do red for the modern masses)

2. Also both the white and yellow visor stickers

3. And last but not least 3 sets of the HP Full face wrap around sets

Awesome! I'd be interested in a few repros. Last time I asked HWY about some decals he said he wasn't doing them anymore? We can outnumber him!

Still in business doing repro's but not much emphasis on old school Husky - too small of a niche market.
ATV's and UTV's outnumber all motorcycle (modern and vintage) graphics by a HUGE margin.

Mr. Chod, Very cool selection of decals you got there. Would love one/two of the "HP helmet wrap-around" if any repos get made****************************************

Had to post up my latest helmet score. Found a NOS Scott face mask on a lark. A little drilling/finagleing and this helmet set-up is done.

I've still got a few sets of both blue and yellow helmet gunsights and both visor decals as above. If anyone interested shoot me a PM.
