• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Want Opinions - Color Seat Cover - Pics

Hello,
I am curious what you people think about possibly a different colored seat cover on the Husky? I have done some VERY poor "paint program" seat color mods to pictures below, the stock black, a blue, and a red. Be brutally honest because I really am undecided. The picture is of course of the bike I am selling but I will have the same color graphics on the new 2010 TC 250. Thanks!

Just remember, if you go with red, you better be happy with pink too, because it'll be pink before long from being in the sun. ;)

Of course not Kelly...I'm sure he had to twist your arm to bling it out and you probably fought tooth and nail to keep it from happening. By the way, I love the forks.

black is good

ive got a grey center and black sides with red stiching that looks really nice with the white and red plastic. its awsome and its never on the bike because i dont want to trash it and the plastic. im running the stock blue n yellow with a blue seat.

That bike has a lot going on visually. I'd go with black or maybe dark gray.

I was going to make a joke about liking seat covers like I like my women...but I decided not to.

forgiving and supportive :)

I like the black seat, since it compliments the black wheels, forks, and guards. You already have a lot of red and blue going on. Sometimes too much can be a bad thing. You could go with blue sides and red top. That theme is similar to your shrouds, but I still think it would be too much. Keep it black... just my $0.02

Doesn't have to be just one color you know.... I like how mine turned out.

If that was my seat, it would have a third color in the middle of that white. Is Skid mark a color.:busted::lol:

Black, but what are you worried about!

Your so fast that you don't sit down anyway.

Just throw the seat away!

Black and have someone insert the Husky logo in it in red/silver!
