• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

WANTED rear pillion pegs for a smr511 2011 model to suit

Me and my gf use these. THEY ARE FANTASTIC!

We rode 2 hours of quick twisties with zero issue! Its great because she is not sitting up high or her legs in a akward position they mirror mine but to the outside. Ground clearance is the same, but you could rub pegs while cornering is sacrificed but we have yet to scrape even going "spirited"

Bike is the most fun with a passenger I have ever had and works flawlessly!

The rescue pegs work the best, ergonomically it is awesome! It just works for us. She is 5' 6" and I am 5' 6" she has long legs so no other solution was working. This works great, is comfortable, cheap, AND she has long enough legs to mount/dismount with zero drama!

WOW these are great. and what an idea. would never have thought of these ever existed.
im defiantly going to to get a set of these. id say they would work great.

these would also work on my sons drz70 when going doubles with them as I sit on the back AND HAVE NO WHERE TO PUT MY FEET.
Gotto thank you for the reply post. huyskylove again wow.
and a pic of my bike as im getting road registered as soon as I get the pegs sorted out as I want to register it as a two seater. not a solo.husky pics 002.jpg

thanks rob09
ill get back to you.
and how much.
will these pass a roadworthy I've got know idea if these are a roadworthy issue as I want them to legal for a
pillion passenger.

Good question. I have NFI.

They are bloody solid once hooked on but, feel as if they are welded on. I can't imagine you having any dramas.

I had the cross plus, they are good too but seating position on a motard with them as passenger kind of sucks. Thats why with this bike I went with the rescue pegs...

Cross pluss has a bottle opener built in! Im sold already on them :P
