• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Welcome to the forum! Introduce yourself here!

Hi, Just bought my first Husky last week. I'm pretty much a nOob, so I probably be asking for help. Glad to have found this site. The Husky thread on ADV is pretty thin.

Introducing myself to the forum as the owner of a new as of yesterday, 2013 TE 310 R.

I have been primarily a road rider and club raced with aamrr on the east coast for a few years in the '80s. A Yoshima prepped '75 Honda 400F (492cc) and a '82 GPz550 modified as well. After a long hiatus competing windsurfing, MTB Racing for 5 years in CA and SUP Racing the last 2 years decided it was time to own a dirt bike. Going to take it slow and grow into the 310 and hope to learn something from those here.

Hey gang.

Just signed up to learn more about my new bike (2012 TE310) and Husqvana bikes in general. I can already tell the fuel injection tuning is gonna take some patience.
I'm 39, well 40 tomorrow, Dec 5th. Bought the 310 for my b-day more or less. Intermediate rider, dirt, mud, street stairs whatever lies ahead.

I live in Seattle Washington and spend far too much time and money building my jeep to go further off road than it was ever desgined to.
I've only had 1 husky before this one a TC450, 100 year anniversary edition. Almost all of my previous bikes have been supermotos, few dual sports along the way but usually cram some 17" wheels in there and ride the hell out of them. Just too much fun, plan to do the same with the TE after break in.

I'll get some picrures posted once I figure out thie picture hosting thing.

Cheers-beers! D
