• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Welcome to the forum! Introduce yourself here!

OOps posted my introduction in the wrong thread.. I live in the UK near Portsmouth, and have just bought a TR650 Terra which I am hoping to pick up when the weather improves next week and when my insurer c an sort out my policy because they dont yet have the TR650 listed and wont cover me at the minute :excuseme: its my second Husky, having previously owned a 610SM... Looking forward to some adventures on the TR ...
Great you found your way over to the Welcome thread!

Hello there, Im Brandon. I recently purchased a '94 WXE610 in SuMo trim. I was directed here by Dan at MotoXotica. Ive got a few things to sort out(timing chain, suspension reseal, etc) before i put the bike on the track this season, but in the ~200mi ive ridden so far, this thing rips! Feels good to be back on a thumper..

Im looking for a service manual for this bike, and not having much luck with google. Does anyone have a link to one, or even have one they'd be willing to sell for a reasonable price?

Hello everyone.
I have just brought a 09 TE610, my last trail bike was a KDX200 in the eighties and I swore I would never by a dirt bike for road use again. That was until we have started thinking about a cape trip so the YZ may soon be on the market.
Now the fun begins getting the bike ready.
Mick

Spend my time flat track racing or wood riding or ice racing and wanted a 150-200cc woods bike to run some old guy classes this summer. Lookin forward to getting it off the dealers floor with the tax return LOL.

Hello all, I am from Orlando fl, I am an avid motorcycle rider, been riding since 2005 and have over 80,000 miles under my belt. In the last two years I have crossed the country two ways on my goldwing. Have been through 30 states and Canada. I am selling my wing and want to buy a husqvarna tr650 terra. In the mood for a change. This will be my first enduro, will use primarily for daily commute with an occasional off road play time.

Hi my names Paul and I live in the UK on the Hampshire/Surrey border. After a five year hiatus from biking I've just gone out and bought myself a 2005 TE 510. What have I done to myself? The ride home from Basingstoke on Saturday morning was an eye opener, I could only find my summer gloves and the sub zero temperature made the ride down the A30 one long list of expletives, but I did have a :) on my face for most of the trip.

I've got a little fettling to do to fix a couple of niggles and a change of fluids/filters as I'm not sure when they were last done, then I'll be out getting back into the swing of riding a bike. When it warms up a little I'll also be researching a few BOATs to play about on, any suggestions happily accepted.

My name is B. I am living in New York.
I am a week away from owning my first Husqvarna!!! :applause:

I just put money down on an 09 Husqvarna SMR 510.
It currently has 2656 miles and looks amazing!

I am dying to finally ride something different then the whole "crotch rocket" craze
lol

Some questions, if no one minds me asking:

1. I have been searching for months for this bike and every time I found one, it was sold. It is super clean (besides decals coming off which he has replacement ones) and pretty much bone stock. They are so hard to find especially around my area. So do you think $5800 is too much for this bike?

2. Do they make passenger pegs for this bike? I have searched wild for them. I gotta have my girl go riding too!!! lol ;)

3. What sites are good for parts? bar ends, hand guards, other plastics, ect.

CANT WAIT TO WHEEEEEEELIE! haha

Hi, another '12 TE449 owner here.
Bought it last week. 8" of snow a couple days later. Can't wait for the spring thaw.
Thanks to all you Husky fans here for tons of information and helping a total noob find his way.
