• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

07 Husqvarna SM 610 from Brazil

Hello! I currently own a 2007 SM 610 IE, riding now with enduro wheels. I already added a LV can and I'm almost 2 months waiting on a skidplate and steering damper from motosportz. I love this bike (sold a 1999 KTM 640 hard enduro), had a lot of fun riding on twisties with the SM wheels.

Hi everyone.. Been lurking for while now and decided to do the intro..

I have of an 09 450TXC and ride most of the place in northern Cali. Here is a pic of my Husky that I pickup from Dan @ MotoXotica in Vacaville.

I'm now in the market for a TE450 so some DS ride..

Hello new lurker here. Thinking about a possible change. I'm a 2 stroke guy and interested in the wr 300.

I'm a long time Gas Gas 300 rider. A few people on here probably know me or of me.

Look forward to learning about these bikes and the aftermarket that supports them.

'83 430wr

Evening -- looks like a great site. I bought a new 430 WR in '83 and last summer completed a rebuild of it.....not a showroom restoration but a working/riding rework. I'm riding enduro's and vintage moto's ....along with the trail riding. I have more detailed questions to ask on the site and those will be coming.....
for now, here's some pics.....

See yas around

Cheers,

Hi from cape town
Found myself a 1982 xc500. Needs some TLC but I will try to get it back into shape again!
Bike has been standing in the back of a garage for the last 27 years.
