• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hello

Just joined and looking forward to meeting everyone. Who has been to the Husky Memorial? I'm planning a ride out there in January. Not necessarily huskys only. Start at Camp B, ride to the memorial, take the open route through Grass Valley to Johanesburg for gas and lunch in Randsburg, back through the Rands to Camp B?

Hi all,

Newbie here. I picked up a beat up '07 te 510 a couple of weeks ago and am prepping it for use as my mini adventure bike. I hope you all don't mind some pretty basic questions in the future.

Newbie

Hi all,
I'm new here to CafeHusky, I've been a member on TT for a couple years now and thought I'd venture into unknown territory. Since I have a Husky I thought I'd join you guys in your discussions when possible. I have a 94 TE610 that although it leaks where ever there's oil it runs like a camp...I recognize several names on here from the TT forum so it can't be all bad! Thanks for lettng me join!

Hello all. New guy here just checking out the site which looks great. Im not a Husky owner but Im leaning towards one for my next DS bike so Im here to ask the usual dumb questions about Husqvarna's and look forward to the conversation. Cheers

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say hello to all you Huskyites!! I run a small Husky motocross team in Bali Indonesia and we currently have three 2010 TC250's. Is there anyone else with this bike here?? Would love to hear from you and your thoughts about the bike! Has anyone used any aftermarket exhausts or ignition systems on them yet? I personally love the bike and find it so easy to ride. So come all you 2010 TC owners, let's start exchanging some tips!!!

I appreciate you and others welcoming people to the forum

There is no way I can do that these days, I'm buried with other things in the backend trying to make things better. :)

I do remember the days of my little ones getting up early. Mine are older now, and these days they tend to stay up late, so I wait up for them :)
