.... Does anyone know the difference between 788 and 790?
Probably a little obvious but um.....2?

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

made me laugh!Probably a little obvious but um.....2?![]()
I've developed mild arthritis in my hands and always have some part of my hands hurting( I'm a plumber and use wrenches on a daily basis). Pillow tops eventually start to hurt my hands. I'm able to feel every bump, and then starts killing my hands. The spider grips are one of the only kind that won't begin to bug my hands. I purchased a msr handlebar for my crf100 a couple years ago that came with grips just like the orange pro grip ones in the above post. Those grips were very comfy for my arthritic hands.
Like everyone else says, grips are personal preference, but if your hands are your money makers, choose wisely. Sucks when your hands can't grip a wrench for a few days!
I've deffinately thought about the flex bars. That's good to hear from someone with the same kind of hand issues. Thank you.I'm a horseshoer for 35 years and my hands have taken a beating using nippers, knife, hammer and tongs. I have the same pains you do. You might want to consider Flexx Bars. I can hardly ride without them and can see the difference when I ride a bike without them. I raced my '82 250WR in a vintage HS last year, with regular Renthal bars and my hand were killing me after. I rode my snowmobile without them this Winter and the same thing. I ride my bikes with them and hands don't hurt as much. I'm putting them on everything this year. They are not cheap, but if I can't work because my hands hurt, it costs more.
Domino dual compound, like the OEM Husky ones are my favorite. They are the OEM grip on Husaberg and White Huskys too. They are available unbranded, from Domino in a few different colors.
Same here. Theyre good.Progrip 788's.![]()
