  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

What parts come with new 2010 TE450

Bikerdad

Husqvarna
C Class
I will be picking up my first Husky, 2010 TE450, on Sat from the dealer here in Arizona.

What parts should I expect to come with the bike from the factory, I noticed some have mentioned power up parts that came with the bike. (air filter basket, ECU plugs, sprockets, pipe mods etc). Also what is the latest ECU map that should be in the bike.

Thanks,

hi there good luck with your new toy here in australia we get very little freebies i have a 09 te510 at the purchase i got a rear led tail light a small tool kit and had the bike derestricted and the ecu set to full race mode but if you do this do your self a favor and get a dual mode switch this switch trakes the killer bite out makes it more manageable in single track rides

Thanks Dave, I will look into the dual mode switch. Sounds like a good ideal to deal with the different conditions.

Brought the bike to her new home yesterday, she really is a beauty for a dirt bike/DS. She is a little tricky to start, I am still trying to get the technique down, got to get the throttle and e start just right it seems.
Bought her from Go AZ Motorcycles and must say those guys have been great so far. Sonic the Husky mechanic set her up and tuned the ECU from stock. Still have the emission stuff on but she runs pretty good and I will run it as is to break her in.

hi there back again dont want to sound like a now it all but when starting try not using the throttle at all for some reason mine does the same thing any sort of throttle imput it takes ages to start must have something to do with the ecu i guess
