As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
I would like to purchase a new Terra while I still can. I am being offered one by a dealer @ 6,500 OTD. Seeing as MSRP is only 500 more is this even a good deal? They gave me my TE511 for 6 OTD which I thought was a good deal. Thanks.

Terras are tough to deal on, Stradas are the bargain.
You don't know any dealers that actually have a Strada in stock do you ? I'd gladly bus down to Oregon to ride one home.
Reno KTM might still have one. They got the ex-dealers inventory, one strada and one terra. I got the terra. You don't know any dealers that actually have a Strada in stock do you ? I'd gladly bus down to Oregon to ride one home.

I see you own a DRZ 400 SM. I used to have one. Very fun bike. You will love a Strada if you can get one. Better all round bike, but you will want to figure out how to get the Husky engine into the DR chassis,or at least find some stickier rubber. Good luck. You don't know any dealers that actually have a Strada in stock do you ? I'd gladly bus down to Oregon to ride one home.
I think it's not official until first of the year. Picked mine up on the 9th, it was still in the crate. Don't know what their plans are with service. Didn't know about MOSS until after I bought it and came across this forum.Hey nice to see someone here from Reno! Do you know if Reno ktm is set up with the MOSS tool? Will they service our bikes? I bought my terra from the (ex-dealer) and they have absolutely washed there hands clean of our bikes.
There's a Strata in San Fran, Munroe motors. They wouldn't hit the number I wanted so I picked up a Terra in Tucson. You don't know any dealers that actually have a Strada in stock do you ? I'd gladly bus down to Oregon to ride one home.
