  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where can you get 2011 shop manuals?

For the 250/310:
http://www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com...File/Manual/manual_2011_te_tc_txc_250-310.pdf

And the Spare Parts Catalog for the same:
http://www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com...ile/Spare Parts/SPC_TC-TE-TXC250-310_2011.pdf

If neither of those are what you are looking for, start here: http://www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com.au/support.asp
Then click the Owners Manual or Parts Catalog link on the right hand side (can't miss it unless you're legally blind).

The links take you to a page with all the current models.

There is also an archive available on the main toolbar (the black bar near the top) for older models.

Note this is hosted by Husky Australia, so it might not contain the version for your location, but I found what I needed for a 2011 TE310 purchased in California.

I would also be interested in a "workshop" manual (I think thats what Green Mtn Rider is after?) as the owners manual etc . come on the USB you get with the bike.
Tightening torques etc would be very handy.

I agree a workshop manual is a lot better as the owners manual is very limited. As of late December my dealer did not have access to the 2011 workshop manual. I have not followed up since then. I ended up getting the 2010 TE250 workshop manual which is fairly close and it is a very good refrence doccument. It is inexpensive and cost around $18.

The top link in my quote leads to what seems to pass for a workshop manual in the Husky world. It's equivalent to the one for my '03 610e. It's about 50 pages long or so with lots of maintenance info, but it's not a shop manual like I got for my K1100 or my Harley. Those were more detailed than a Clymers.

It's called an Owner's Manual on the site, but it's got much more actual maintenance photos and stuff than the pdf that came on the usb stick.

I would think they may have not yet produced the 2011 worshop manual. The 2010 workshop manuals are far more comprehensive then the doccument in the link or the 2010 owners manuals.

Proper workshop manuals previously existed in Husky World, but might have to wait or search them out...
I have a "owners manual" and a "workshop manual" for my 2009 TE 450. The workshop manual is huge. In 2008-2009, I know the workshop manuals were obtained from dealers, often sold on cd's or transfered with a memory stick for $10. Personally, I thought they were on the memory sticks from reports (2010?)- but it doesn't sound like it in 2011. I would contact your dealer, or Halls Husqvarna. They may be available, or just be soon to follow.

I have the owners manual, but it does not have all the info I need which would be in the shop manual. I was able to download one for my 07 510. Wonder what the shops are doing?
