  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where do I get TE 310 shop manual?

I printed out the crappy manual from flash drive Husky gives. Junk. Does anyone know where I can get a shop manual that has more detail than the stock crap? Two petcocks. Why? Manual doesn't explain. Someone posted that is so yaounde can remove the crossover tube****************************************! What is that and why would I want to remove it. I am no idiot and I consider myself a good mechanic and fabricator. But I cant do squat without a manual that has detail. This Husky crap reminds me of Harley Davidson parts I instructions. Worthless. Thanks

Firstly, you need to turn off both taps to remove the crossover hose, to remove the tank.
I have been waiting on a manual for one of these for months, but no-one has found one (*or posted it as yet), but you can use a 2010 TC/te 250 one as they are very similar , there is a post for manuals on here somewhere?
The other alternative is to get your dealer to burn one for you (with a $ charge of course)

Erm **************************************** Right , Cross over pipe is the black rubber "Hose" that joins the 2 Fuel Taps . It is needed so that both the lower sections of the Tank are joined together to use all available fuel , normally both Taps Open . If you want to remove your Tank , you will need to remove this Pipe as it goes under Frame . Turn both Taps off and remove pipe from one Tap , you can then lift your Tank off ( assuming you have removed Fuel Pipe and Pump Wires !) .

As for Workshop Manual , it is available from good Husky Dealers on CD . I bought one (nominal ammount) months ago from Husky Sport in the UK !

Talk to your Dealer , Im sure he can answer some of these basic questions , thats what hes there for !

The Manual on USB with the Bike "This Husky Crap " is just a basic operators guide .

Ordered shop manual today for TE 310 2011. Got it from Halls Cycles. Pop me a note next week if you want a copy.
