• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where the heck have I been?? I forgot how good a CR/WR 250 Really is****************************************

nice gear mcgrath!! :D drop the 150 off to me next time you come down to halls hahaha
Mat be there on consignment. Gotta setup 8 mile course and do time trials back to back between tricked out 150 and STOCK 01 CR 250 (Husky) I'm curious and scared too find out the results?????? If I was a betting man, I'm thinking 250 will win, but not for sure at all!!

Darn that bike is way too clean Bring it up to Akeley MN and either you ride it for the weekend or let me!!! What year is it???

It just got a make over / upgrade because it was getting a little thrashed. This was supposed to be my winter thrasher / lender bike but I really like it. Great motor and a very good tight woods bike. This bike is no garage queen for sure, gets hammered through the gnar a lot. That pic was taken right after the new plastic and stuff and then went directly to Moab for 200 mile thrashing.

Yes but they are 48 mm I believe

My brand new 2011 250 has 45mm zokes with black dlp coated legs and a Ohlins shock. Just got it back from the suspension shop ,cant wait to ride it.

Yep , I was referring to the 12's having the trick new 48's (standard on Nambo edition 2011, I think) I know the 11's had the 45's and that is part of the reason I almost jumped ship!
