• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where to buy Husky Gear In England

proeasy

Husqvarna
AA Class
I am going to England next week to visit my brother (says you Brits need lessons in how to tip few) While there I would like to do some shopping as it appears your have a broader range of Husky riding gear than we get here. I will be near Coventry. Any stores with a good selection of wearables? even if I have to venture to London, appreciate any feedback.

:D

Thanks Dean!

Husky Sport is about 1h 45mins from Coventry to the south near Winchester, Melvin at SS is just over the hour to the west near Shrewsbury. The closest dealer is Wollaston Off Road at Northampton (about 35 mins to the south east) who are primarily a BMW dealer but (and I know Steve at Wollaston won't mind me saying this) they only have limited off road gear at this time as it's a new venture for them.

I've attached a UK dealer list so you can see who's where, Husky Sport carries more Husqvarna stock than any other dealer in the UK (Husqvarna is all we do) and we'd be pleased to see you.

While you're in the UK, check out Airoh helmets. I hear they're good helmets and very light weight. Wish we could get them here.

www.dirtbikebitz.com - not a pleasant experience

I did not have a pleasant experience with these folks. I attempted to purchase a Sinsalo jersey several months back...only to see these folks debit my credit card and never deliver the goods. After numerous attempts to reach their offices, via email and over the phone, I simply gave up trying to see if they would "make it right". Very, very disappointed.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Many thanks to all, my brother also suggested GH Hockey (or something like that) Spoke with Melvin sounds like a great guy and worth the drive time to talk bikes and pick up some bits and pieces.
