  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where to find a clutch? '10 te310

Sorry about that bud, they had better return for you then, and take down there compatibility chart. Strange they would list it like that.

This is very common for most aftermarket suppliers with huskys. You are way better off with someone that specializes and would know the differences.

Ferracci may have a clutch basket for this bike.

it is a nice piece and they are selling them cheap.

Only issue is the anodizing they use makes the tangs a little tight...you might have to file your plates a touch like Ii did on my 125.

Not looking good!! See the replay from Fast by Ferraci

Hello Neil,

The clutch discs p/n 8000A0611 is no longer in stock, and is not in stock at Husqvarna. I can't find replacement aftermarket clutch discs for your bike either.
Please let me know if you want these clutch springs. They sale retail for $2.05 each. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Martin Betts

Barnett? They list plates and springs for a few models that all use same clutch plates except not the 310 for some reason. Wonder if they have plates that might match up for another bike.

I found one in NJ if you need it. See the reply below from Central Jersey Cycle. Bob Wallace. centraljerseycycles@yahoo.com

Talked to robert and its in the mail!

Thank you again.!

:(

scratch that.

He went to pull it from inventory and doesn't have one. still looking. :(

This is really sad to hear. It's not like your bike is 30 years old, it's still a modern bike IMHO and parts should be plentiful. What is really going on with KTM and replacement parts for the Italian bikes? (rhetorical question implied)

Anyone know where I can find a clutch? Would really like to get out on my own bike without having to worry about breaking a loaner.

Sceep, if I was you, I'd pull one of the friction plates, and take all the measurements of it, including the width of the tabs and how many tabs, and width of the spaces between the tabs, as well as diameter, thickness etc.
Then get on the TT Honda boards and ask if anyone has some of their clutch plates out on the bench and ask them to measure them. I'll bet you can find some plates that are similar.

I dont know why, but I have the feeling that the CRF250 uses similar clutch plates.. you can take one as OlderHusky said, go to a Honda Parts Store and check directly with them live.

$150 later and there is one in the mail (for real!! tracking number and all!!) from Stocks Harley Davidson in Manitowac WI.

What a nightmare.
