• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Man, I hope not... :busted:

I would have bought him an Adventure Nuda if there was one available here in the US, but there isn't so please don't hold it against me, fellow Cafe denizens. Hey, at least it isn't orange :excuseme:

I present to you my 20th wedding anniversary gift to Eric. Lord knows he's earned it...

And just when my ride reports were starting to look good with 2 610's, too...

Thanks, Walt :)

Eric was loving that thing! He was pitching it all over the place like he'd been riding it forever. We had a total blast :D

That's a hot piece of machinery, very nice
So am I to understand that this is for when you brake things in your body?

The Punisher looks nice! Just keep a Husky pic or two in your RR's and I am sure CH will keep you around.

Very nice!
I had a silver blue, it's for sure the fastest and prettyist color.
The Chicks really like um too...

Eric is one major lucky man Tammy, Keep the RR's coming so we can live through your adventures. Congrats Eric, SWEET RIDE!!!

Lucky Man..

Silver is definitely the color to have in that bike.

I kinda like the White version.

He may like it now, but probably not so much the first time he has to pick it up. BTW, run right out and get the kickstand relocation kit. The stock stand bolts to the friggin engine block. STILL. After ALL these years. I dunno wtf they're thinking. :excuseme:

Ha-ha!! Kinda :D We just had a blast riding 2-up when my shoulder was broken, so yeah, that's one of the pluses of a big comfy 2-up machine.
Just another way to enjoy the sport we love so much...kinda like supermoto, singletrack, streety dual sport, dirty dual sport...it's all fun to us

Yeah, I hope the bike doesn't live up to the Punisher moniker. It's going to hurt if we toss that thing down the road :p

Nope. You got it backwards; I'm the lucky one! And yeah, I'm pleased I found a good one that wasn't orange. It's gorgeous in person

Sweet! You are quite the woman!

Well, apparently Eric thinks so :excuseme:
I must be doing something right :)

tradin it in on a nuda xc when they get em here right?? lol sweet ride!

I'd love nothing more than an adventurey Nuda! Or, hell, any kind of Nuda...I'm not picky!

Oh, totally! Right on all counts

I'll pass along the congrats, Palmer :) And yeah, I guess he's sort of lucky; he's got a gal that worships the ground he walks on and he never has to get a hall pass to go riding

I kinda like the White version.

Oh, no, see...you don't understand; This bike isn't going to hit the ground, ok? We've already decided on that.
But, uh, that being said...I'm kinda curious as to what the Richmond Ramblers would say if we enter the Bear Foot on it...surely there's a 2-up Open Twins class...right? :D I'll wear my weightlifting gloves instead of my moto gloves just in case.

And yeah, relocation kit will be forthcoming. You know KTM..."race ready," right?
I'm not a big fan of the white 990's. I wouldn't have minded the blue Dakar version but it was a little flashy for Eric. He liked the silver, and I knew he wanted a carb'd version, so I'm glad kept looking til I found the perfect 950. I really wanted it waiting for him in the back yard on the morning of our anniversary but it was not to be. The wait was worth it :)

I am coming out****************************************. I have wanted one of those since the 950's first saw light of day. They are terrific bikes. What a caring Bride you are Woodsie.

Can´t remember anyone being banned since I signed on here. Even owning a KayteeBoom evokes more pity than blame!
