As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Again, not me...but this other guy has several vids of his TR going through some pretty rough stuff.
I'm reasonably sure I now know who the Knuckle head is that keeps posting videos about 'bad drivers' in Napa California. Some old red car with 2 'interesting' characters in it with a variety of piercings on their faces & noses - going about 10 mph in a 30mph zone.
Suffice it to say, I will most certainly be on their youtube channel after today.

I check every couple weeks or so, mainly to see if someone not on the forums has done any performance (exhaust or whatever) mods yet. The last few weeks more and more TR vids are popping up. Heck, look back a couple months ago and all that was out there was corporate Husky TR vids. Keep hearing about all these people buying them...nice to see people riding them!

I'm looking into buying a cam. I don't have the bucks for the go pro, any recommendations for the cheap Chinese ones?
I saw one clip today that may be the K Russel, is that yours? The driveway one?
@Chris, that is about the strangest position I have see a bike video in. Maybe he was using a cam in his pocket or something.

Mag00, I bought the Monoprice cam. it's pretty inexpensive @ around $100 and goes on sale for around $80 every once in a while. it comes with a bar mount, but you will need to supply a micro sd card.

Yep, it's me. The dark early days of my Strada ownership. If you would have said I'd grow to love the bike, and then buy a Terra too, I would have told you that you were crazy. Super glad I stuck with it. Some MOSS magic and all was well.

Yeah, it was a solid rock face with variable height grooves that ran parallel to the roadway. I thought my buddy Lauren had just barely made it across so I thought I'd go for it. When my groove ran out I just couldn't keep it together. SW Motech bars proved reliable and took a heck o f a hit. Planning to ride the North side of the TET in a few weeks on the TR650.

I've been seriously injured three times riding. Two of the injuries were either going in or coming out of one of those deep mud holes. Damn I hate em!
