I bought mine mostly for commuting as well, which puts about 45mi a day combined. Not terrible, except that it is sometimes a one-hour commute to work, and sometimes back home.
I commute about three days a week on mine, 60 miles roundtrip and half of that in the dark. Once I get properly setup with cases, I'll likely be able to commute 5 days a week on it.
I commute 60 miles round trip. 56 miles on the freeway. I usually use the bike 3 days during the week. It would be nice to reduce the wobble at 65+ mph, but I haven't had a bad trip to work on my bike yet.
Been commuting to work and back on my new TR650 to help hit the break-in mileage. It's not too bad for the 70-80 mph HOV lanes here in Northern VA . Still consider this my good weather bike though with the lack of weather protection or bad weather comforts. Will be switching back to my BMW for commuting once the weather drops below 50 degrees, but for now I'm enjoying the change of pace for my work ride.
DOUBTLESS Terra650 is the best bike to commute nowdays.. just to find the right windshield to protect you when 80mph. i am looking forward that. OEM is not work properly.
