last night I decided to go full Mexico mode , GNCC configuration , I'm going full moto- no rear inner fender and no lights and 2015 TC250 number plate up front Gnarley with Turbine core 2 (not really full Mexico because of S/A), I kinda wanted to go Fatty.. but my fatty needs to be redone/jigged and fixed. may or may not use my holed side cover, will decide this weekend.
Spent enjoyable afternoon at Robertaccio's for Race prep... Mousses installed, gear box oil drained, and plastics installed (mandatory bling). Going out Sunday morning for last minute special test practice.
2 3 strokes getting prepped for tecate!! notice BNG 2016 style. The headlight eliminator kit did not work with the husaberg bottom triple.....so my front is still 2014 TE style not sure i like the new obie link guard he made a big bend in the thing so it has more of a sharp ramp instead of a smooth ramp to slide over things, but its on there, my old one had a hole blown through it
Got a delivery of 4 bikes today that will be heading down south pretty soon. Going to be a good time, did the last bit of bike setup yesterday now just need to put in a fresh air filter and pack my gear. Later,
FYI the race area is a ways south from last years rancho santa veronica location. and it is a remote location camping only, although many will stay at STa V and drive over to the race start/finish area its maybe 1/2 hour south down compadre road LAMC is good about arrow markings
whichever way you want to get to santa V just continue south down the compadre road and pass santa v turn off on your right. same place as the HS. we always take the libre road from tecate and go over the toll road over pass at the Neji sign. this cuts straight south off the libre road and goes over the el hongo (Mexicali) bound toll road.
Here RaceMX904 (Ron Menchen) this ones for you. http://www.losancianos.com/scan/IMG_7182.jpg the event legend continues.
I go on Course #2 @ 0825. I'm already starting to annoy my coworkers with my dirt bike noises. Almost as cool as being in Moto 7!
That is a killer idea placing your times on the crossbar! Still on Nado. Heading out this afternoon to El Pueblo Magico.
