Sorry I haven't answered the question about the QD, I've been plowing 3+- feet of snow for the last 4 days and just got home for the 1st time in 3 days. I didn't get the QD, so I have no idea what it's like. The new design for Moty is the hard impact plastic w/ reg terminals. I went with that instead of the shrink wrap because it looked more durable. If Organ Donor's wraped one lasted this long, the new one should be a solid unit!
