Love the pre-filter mod glitch! Thanks for posting. I'm all over it. Going to see if I can come up with some skimmer filters locally.
It's doing the trick quite nicely. Pantyhose is another material used in the past, the skimmer socks are a little finer + easier for the filter oil to hang onto.
