I wanted shorty levers on my SV650 and was too cheap to buy the fancy Pazzos. What I did was cut them off and smooth out the ends. I'm kind of on the fence about cutting up my levers on this bike. I can run 2 fingers on the long brake lever easily enough, since it doesn't pull all the way into the bars. I'd like to be able to do that on the clutch side, without mashing my ring & pinky finger.

I don´t much like the clutch "safety" switch but that and the the brake light switch are mandatory here. I don´t want to make things too obvious when I´m in the next traffic trap, so will just have to make do with the standard Magura "shorty" levers I was able to get.

George e-mailed me that he has ARC make up for him in red and black.

    Do they actuate the switches?

FYI: The pull of the Universal ASV shorty clutch lever/perch is different enough from stock for my taste. It is a harder pull and it doesn't pull enough cable to fully engage the clutch. I got one yesterday, put it on and didn't like it. I fixed the stock lever/perch (it was a little sloppy due to a crash by the previous owner) and shortened the lever with a saw... much better and I don't pinch my pinkey/ring fingers. I don't worry about the lack of a ball tip as I will have handguards on in the near future.

Yeah is a link earlier in the thread and was looking at these - they do look the business. Will the clutch one work with the 610 and clutch switch? Not that that is really necessary either.

Organ Donor -- Please take a look at my posting (ASV Levers That Fit A SMS 630 !!) I finally found, purchased and installed these levers with NO problems at all. They look and feel great.

    THE SEARCH IS OVER!

OK long story short - eventually received a set of short levers ordered from BMP. Dealt with Bryon who was helpful and while they did not have the one side in stock ordered for me from ARC. There was also a further delay as BMP shipped to the wrong address initially but all was sorted out.

These are the ones that are made up for UpTite (and annodised with Husqvarna and his name)and custom fit the TE610 and activate all switches. I specced a shorty for the clutch - I believe the standard swopout here is not so short to ensure leverage on the the non-hydraullic clutch cable (I have large strong hands so no issue and prefer the extra control of more fingers gripping the bar than the lever).

They fitted up pretty easily - brake more so than clutch which requires the removal of a small plastic cover on the cable end piece. They will require setting for reach and activation with the allen set screw and lock nut but otherwise all great!

    Part numbers?
So it's BR-103 for the brake, what's the clutch side?
ARC CL-403 SM doesn't show as an item on the ARC site

Brake side is probably the same on the 630, but what about the hydro clutch?

Clutch did not have a part number (maybe because I specced it short?) - e-mail Bryon@BMP.
$64 each if I recall correctly.

Yes thats what I run, no issues at all. There are pretty nice and have Georges touches on them.

Just call George, he will set you up, I think mine were $80 for both

Sure if you have the patience - I dealt with BMP as not in USA.

No it's not. Try an e-mail to Bryon at BMP. ;)
