i ended up gettin the magura II from mme. it says they arent available on the website but i emailed them and talked to steve there, he said he hadnt had time to update the website yet and to jsut order the magura1 and to specify you need the magura2 in the sidenote with the payment. ill let ya know how it is when i get er
That is what I have on my bike. Word of warning - you really can't adjust them in toward the bar. With the changed pivot point you need the entire lever motion to go from fully engaged clutch to fully disengaged. That is the reason I went with the Arc from George.
I got short Magura levers for my 630. Can´t say they´re much to look at. Certainly NOT the quality of other colour anodized levers but there don´t seem to be any alternatives on the European market that guarantee working with the electric switches on front brake and clutch.

The ARC levers still require that you bypass the clutch safety switch. So, you do lose the functionality of that switch. The brake light switch still works, from what I understand. George recommends bypassing that clutch safety switch anyway; says they're failure prone. I have 10,000 miles on my TE630 and haven't had a problem with the switch. I only have 6,000 miles on my current clutch master cylinder, though.
hey so it's been a while for this thread, but i'd like to revive it. Based on this thread it sounds like ARC BR-103 for the brake and CL-105 for the clutch. Is that right? How are the levers working out? Also it sounds like you still need to bypass the clutch safety switch. Anyone have any instructions or advice on how to do this? Cheers! Steve
I got both levers for the 630 from Midwest Mountain Engineering. Brake light and clutch cutout still work. One- finger clutch control no problem.
I'm looking for shorty levers for my 2009 SM 610. In particular, I'm interested in the MME shorty levers b/c the pull tension is supposedly half that of stock. This thread is great, but somewhat confusing as far as those shorty's are concerned. So still wondering if anyone knows if they'll fit and fully function on a 2009 SM 610? I mean, do they fit without mods and do they activate the clutch safety and brake light switches? Mixed interpretation on my end, so here's hoping someone can clear that up for me. Meanwhile, I've emailed MME and I went to their website for help. Only thing I can tell so far is that they offer MME "Brembo" brake and clutch (cable) levers, by model year and make. Again, I've contacted them, so will have to wait and see what they say.
I couldn't find them so I made some. Cut off the end of the lever and make a ball with JB weld putty. Dries in 5 and you can file, sand and paint. Mine have been is action a couple of years now. Cam.
@Sizzler - thanks for the reply! @KXcam22: that is pretty awesome... i must admit that is more appealing than paying ~$150 + shipping to get some ARC levers. could just buy a couple sets of cheapys and do them all at once. cheers guys
Hey I have an 07 sm610. Just received an ARC adjustable clutch lever part #CL-403 from Bills Husky in Salem, Oregon. I paired it with a motion pro clutch cable. I had to drill out the hole in the lever for the clutch cable ball end but if you run the factory clutch cable the lever fits perfect. 100 times better then the factory clutch lever and cable. Even if you cut the stock clutch lever you can't adjust the pull on it. The stock lever sits way too far out from the bar for me so I really wanted an adjustable one. It cost $65 from Bills. Outstanding customer service from Bills as well as lots of knowledge #1 place in my opinion.
