    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

610 aftermarket gas cap

This is Brandons cousin Alex. I just wanted to let everyone know there might be a slight delay, Brandon was involved in an accident and is awaiting surgery right now and he may be hospitalized and unable to communicate for a bit. He's ok, a little banged up but ok. I will do my best to substitute and relay messages, if this is a problem with anyone I may be able to package some of these up and send them out in the next few days but I want to first make sure everything is all set on his end. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause

good afternoon, my apologies for the delay on this project. i have just returned home from the hospital. on friday the 10th i was riding home late from the shop and had an accident. i hit a dog the size of a small bear 1mile from home. the animal appeared in front of me before i could process what had happened. i went over the bars and flew, for what felt like a forever. i hit the ground and tumbled a bunch. i laid there for a sec or two, making sure all my parts were still attached. after a short wait for an ambulance i was on my way the the ER. the docs took a pile of pictures, and ran a bunch of tests. i was transferred to the regional trauma center with a broken back, two breaks in my left leg, and a mixed bag of road rash. the trauma docs have fused and stabilized three vertebrae with a handful of rods and screws. after a week and a half of surgery and hospital stuff i am happy to say that i am on the road of recovery. i am making arrangements to get help with packing and shipping of the caps. please be patient and you will not be disappointed. being out of work now, this will be my mission along with getting riding again! ill post pics of the SM post accident. its sad.
 
Man, I'm sorry to hear it but glad to hear you'll be pulling through. Rest up and don't push yourself!

How are you feeling? Hope you're heeling up fast! Please don't go out of your way, but I was one of the guys asking for a red cap, but if you have a black one that's not spoken for, I'll take it! I really need to do something! My cap leaks and allows water in. I have had to drain my tank 4-5 times in the last month. Again, only if you or your friend you had helping can do this without going out of your way! Otherwise I'll wait for a red one. Thanks!

p.s. I know you're all saying " what an ass" but I'm going to die riding this thing when water gets in the fuel! It ran me into a tree lasts eek due to bad gas!
 
im getting back in the swing of things here. i will be sending caps out this week. keep on the lookout for emails and paypal things. fuel caps are crash tested...check out the broken stuff thread.
