What type of fuel mapping was on the power surge and how did you adjust it to cure the torque dip?
I started with with whatever it recommended in the instructions for the JD unit. If I remember correctly, I added fuel in the yellow and that cured it. I think the torque dip was at around 4k RPM.
Then I went to these settings:

but after my first long freeway ride (about 40 mi) I noticed the bike was sometimes a little hesitant or sputtery. I think it was going into yellow mode to soon so when I would accelerate after cruising for a while it would immediately go to the yellow and be a little sputtery. So I upped the Y/B range so that it would go from green mode to yellow mode at a higher RPM. It helped. I think I went up to 3/4 or 4 on Y/B but not positive. I'll have to go and look at the bike.
