• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

There were plenty of legends on hand for the ribbon-cutting, including Chuck Sun, Mark Blackwell, Malcolm Smith, current KTM USA President Jon-Erik Burleson, Dick Burleson, and Larry Roseler.

Nice post thanks !

Thxs and there's a lot of pics on that link ...

Recognize this guy? Mike Brown has been the race anywhere, race anything, utility player for KTM in the past, and he's now made the move over to Husqvarna. If they can get the homologation details dialed before Glen Helen, don't be too surprised if he debuts the new Husqvarna at the first round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Glen Helen. Oh yeah, now that he lost his number three to Eli Tomac, he'll also be rocking the number 100 in the future.

unfortunately the word is he chose to not ride the KOM last weekend and that didn't sit well.

Husky is gonna use ktm as a butttt rag some day ... We just have too much history over them that can be leveraged... If anyone sees any true sales numbers on these bikes, please post them so we can all rejoice together... We're not just putting the band back together, we're gonna take over the band ;)

Huskies for me, was and still is the bike. I started winning on a Maico, won on Huskies, but the Huskie is still available, therefore gimme a Huskie. Which one is the problem, for the ECEA HS Series in the old man's class, real old class, then ice racing, mx, play riding. A plate would be the ultimate here in Jersey and will be a thorn in their side till 15 I'd say. Jersey is tuff but there are a ton of racers here and we need a plate to even play ride, even ice riding on some lakes.
