• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

fmf power core 4 slip on , now bike wont run very well

It is supposed to say Race Map, yes.

If you arent satisfied with the way it runs then do nothing else and hook up with Halls on your trip. Probably want to schedule a visit.

Otherwise, as Tinken said, put on your helmet and go for a ride.
thanks so much, now all i have to do is decide if i want a key on the thing, my initial use of the steering lock thing is that its kind of hard to do. but maybe over time it will get easier and if I carry a small cable lock I can stick it around rear wheel as a deterrent (although if you do that areent u advertising that its stealable?)........if anybody has opinion of key thing, let me know i looked at it , and im guessing with the ingenuity husky did with the magic pin, they did magic to make after market key thing a breeze too.......I will consider it if the steering lock mechanism seems awkward over time. although I do wonder if somebody stole the bike if the insurance company could get out of payment due to no key for bike

I use a cable and lock myself. Even though I have a key I like to have a little feeling of security.
I see the plug for the optional key unit to be put in. and its just a plug and play? if so , since the key tab is on dash already its a no brainer for me. im buying one.
