• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HOLY CRAP BATMAN!! Check out the 2012 GAS GAS BIKES! WOW ROBIN holy Husky is in trouble! POW!BAM!ZOW

Ok, Ok, no one is pouting, just making a point**************************************** You are right cost is a major factor, so sometimes refurbishing your old dialed in bike is not a bad thing!! The truth of the matter is Husky has BMW cashflow to get a new style 250-300 out their!!! The 250 is simply outdated and the ergonomics in my opinion suck when compared to the 125-150 frame. I would like to ride a 250 this next year. I will have to think about it alot. My 150 CR is dialed and has LOTS of extras!!! Not sure I can even afford to pop for a Gasser. We will see. To anyone questioning my loyalty to Husqvarna, please back off**************************************** I will simply say, I would for sure get a Husqvarna tattoo, but would never even dream of getting a Gas Gas tattoo!!! But you have to admit and even Batman and Robin think the 2010 Gassers are nothing short of a sexy 10 Plus!!! All this from a company that is small. Simply amazing. You m ust admit! Husky do us a favor, follow KTM and Gas Gas's steps and give us a new 250. Or just put a 200 cc engine in your 125 frame****************************************

Cat Woman is sexier and she rides a Husky! I saw her once on tv, ride the Bat Husky to the Bat Cave. Pretty sure it was a 2 stroke cause it smoked and had a left kicker on it.

Looks like the shine has worn off those other brand bikes you guys have been drooling over already. Good thing you all didn't go spend 8-9,000 on some grass that looked greener!
I wouldn't bet against the Italians when it comes to race techology.

Looks like I'll be spending $7,400.00 or so on one, 2012 GG200. I still like my two Huskys though.

It looks like the 250 and 300's will be shipped over first then the 200's but I'll be sure to post up a ride report. I don't want to get the members on here mad so I'll post it on the GG site and PM you when I do so.

Ok OK so I started a bunch of, well I don't know BAT CRAP?!?!?!?! Cat woman is so sexy, and probably does ride a fine made in Italy Husqvarna!!! Those da- Gassers are trying to sucker me and make me a trader>? I'm confused like a mid life crisis guy thinking about a divorce and greener grass. My tried and true to me 150, has never let me down and almost ALWAYS gets me a top 15th or so overall finish in a field of 130 to 200 riders. It can not be all me ************************************************************************************************************************!! I will keep thinking about all this. Husky quit the bat crap and give me a new 250 2-stroke so this trader crap will be over, already****************************************************************************************************************************************************************

I have no problems with anyone riding another brand or posting pictures, they are all great bikes. I looked into Gas Gas before I switched to Husqvarna but they did not work for me for reasons I won't go into here. Just hate to see guys justify their decisions by trash talking Husqvarna on a Husqvarna site, which I don't believe you have.
Looking forward to the pictures and ride report.

You are correct GP you won't hear me trash talk Husky; I have two (08 CR144 & 2010 TC250 awesome bikes!). This site has great members as a whole and although we ride many brands we know this is a Husky site.

I've owned both Husky and GG and love them both. Selling my '11 300 GG was stupid. I still contend they are the best overall woods bike made... especially for people with shorter inseams. Although, I'm not sure how I'd get along with that new frame. Too perimeter-like for my tastes maybe.

John,

Hey, you're great guy and everyone knows that. It's not gonna hurt posting your new ride/ride report. So when you get her do a post and ride report. A lot of us aren't on the other sites.

LOL you already have an older one :D !

I have a good friend moving here from the east and bringing his GG dealership with him. Will be working closely with him to design parts for them. Will be riding really nicely setup GG's int he near future. Doubt it will change my Husky love much but fun all the same.
