• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Holy grail of frames I found it......

worst part is we fell for it..nothing accomplished either :excuseme:
I got 13 of Steve McQueens bikes...they will be here Tuesday. but my camera is broke. I am putting a 426 Hemi in the WR450. I made shocks from an old storm door piston and used the springs from 2 Ball point pens. I put in a huge powerband too.....should run great.
Nailed it!

I have always heard that three smaller powerbands all 90 degrees out of phase with each other results in better power distribution over the entire range, where a single large powerband is more abruot, I also heard that the single large powerbands work best with a boost bottle made out of a scuba dive tank, the down side is you have to wear the boost bottle on your back in a scuba rig while you ride

Here is a picture of me with the scuba tank boost bottle. As you can see, it also works under water.

It worked so well I put one on my wife's bike

Her bike is so fast now she cant keep the front wheel on the ground and the rear wheel is always spinning.

Can I have some of what you have smoking or drinking? I need to step out of reality even if just briefly:cheers:

I put a 7hp tech. 4 stroke engine in a kx80 frame for me son. With a jack shaft he had the best suspension mini bike ever. Good till he wanted a two stroke bike.

Someone enlighten me what are "boost bottles" do they give more top end power? Or more everywhere sounds like a fantastic mod.

I stop by every morning to get a fix and every once in a while a gem shines through.
More pictures! The scuba pics almost sprayed coffee on my monitor
