• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC Husqvarna TC150

Thanks Walt! I'm less concerned now as if I get a TC125, it will be a closed course bike and lights aren't a big deal. How would you adjust ignition timing?

It is like the Ducati WR ignition in the late model Italian Huskies. No adjustment. Adjustment will have to be through the CDI programming.

I looked at the '16 KTM Powerparts catalog today. There is a 150 Extreme Condition insert available, for deep sand, high temperature conditions. Lower compression I guess?

Looked at that insert and the single ring piston and I see a cylinder. Just wondering what these do as a bolt on.

What I am shopping for now are lower foot pegs. Really liked the EE tall seat and bar risers on the 14. Funny the Red Husky still feels best with no changes.

The red Husky 125-300 is by far the best tall man bike of any brand yet, especially the 250 and 300, the new backward engine YZ450 is second IMO. I have Fastway pegs in the low and back position on my 09 Husky WR250 and they have been good.

Rumor posted in 2017 thread on KTM Talk, that there will be no KTM 125EXC in Europe next year. Since Europe is the biggest market for 125EXC and TE125, for use as street learner bikes.... Will there be no TE125 in Europe too? I wonder what's going to happen in other markets?

Good time for Sherco to release a 125 enduro...
