• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Idaho City ISDE 2 Day Qualifier 1-2JUN2013

We- me and GF, will leave SD on thurs May30, want to be on site sometime friday 31st and kick back acclimate, relax. sat and sun fun butt kicking.....drive back mon morn. White sprinter moto setup van (rented from the Welshman)
 
I rolling to my bros near Boise Thursday, staying with him, roll up to to sign up and impound friday and then it is on. I only signed up for Sat but might do sunday also. Or, might blow sunday off and go ride an area new LaGrand Oregon. We will see. Still dealing with some tendonitis in my right elbow so need to play it by ear. I'll probably be in a grey Astro van with a hitch hauler.

- where are you sleeping friday and saturday? did you get a room there? Its a good 45 plus minute drive from Boise.

Jake will be rolling up with some other dudes from this area in a motorhome. I'll probably just sleep in my van Friday night so I am there ready to go bright and early.

Will have the Welshmans sprinter, which is home built with a fridge and sleeping zone as well as a divider for moto stuff in the back. Will have GF so may need to have bathroom access somewhere.
I'm riding on Thurs morn then my machine gets the prep for idaho

We will be in a big 5th wheel, should be no problem with her using the bathroom in it. The have a bunch of porta potties too, and right across from the camping/staging area is the visitor center with bathrooms.

This is going to be fun. Got my rear brake sorted, my clutch bled, my forks working better than ever. My elbow is still nagging at me and might be rough for a 100 plus miles of steep single track but I'll just advil up and deal with it. FUN****************************************

I'll let you guys know what's up on Tuesday. I am heading up there tonight. Supposed to get a bit of moisture the middle of next week. Right now I'd say the temp will be around 70s but the dirt will be pretty dry. They are running the course on the East side of the Highway and that typically means faster, more whoops -- more speed and physical.
