    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I hope the dealers here make it some how .... It'll probably work out for them ...

Husky was toasted when bmw purchased them and pimped the name ... This is just another kick down hill and the brand now is no better than a rag doll being tossed around before it is terminated ...

Haha I'll never forget the add they put in the bike magazines a few years ago with a Buell Blast crushed into a cube. They might as well have said, "To all you suckers who bought the blast with the half assed, half a sportster engined shopping cart, here's what we think of you. Would you like to buy this crushed up Blast as a conversation piece to show your friends and family how much HD think of their customers?"
Erick Buell must be one hell of a nice guy to deal with that bullshit clusterfcuk of a partnership.
 
I'm going to take a wait and see attitude. I wasn't in the fold when BMW bought Husky, I can imagine the comments when that happen. It might be for the better that a dirt bike oriented company will be in charge. While the Nuda and Terra have they're points, they aren't really the first thing that comes to mind when you think Husqvarna.
 
I dont think Husqvarna has any ground breaking patents or designs that really interest KTM. No one can prove that Husqvarna has any DI tech. Some photoshopped pics of a WR300 with DI stickers dont mean that it really exists.
 
Glad to have one of the last real ones.....I had KTMs and they were ok....but the wr300 fit right..smoked my friends $$KTMs and at least it has a legacy motor...parts should be around for another decade...my hope would be they make the husky a woods entry level....Ktm middle $$....husaberg elite$$$.....

My "Wood Rapist 300" is the dogs bollocks! I dont want to imagine getting rid of that!
