As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
While it is attractive, the purtiest Huskys have aluminum tanks with shiny spots on the sides. 125s are yellow, 250s red, big bores black or green

You can count on the rules holding up over time...81 isnt old enough to count![]()

You gotta add a splash of purple to that mix. While it is attractive, the purtiest Huskys have aluminum tanks with shiny spots on the sides. 125s are yellow, 250s red, big bores black or green

Tell you what, when something is officially announced and posted in this thread, click on the housekeeping button and we will split the newer posts with actual information into a new thread.Oooo, I forgot about the purple.
**** I think we should officially close this thread.....we are so far off topic that we couldnt find our way back with GPS.
When SP makes an announcement about the future we need to start a new topic for it.

In the mean time feel free to keep posting. Nothing wrong with chit chatting about the bikes.
I expect the Husaberg brand to evaporate under this arrangement.....though there is that nettlesome yard tool branding that distracts from the classic Husqvarna image. The 'roots' are not Husaberg, but Husqvarna.
Pictures or it's not true!!I have an 81 XC430 with a red and shiny tank
Pictures or it's not true!!
JUST think Gram Jarvis on a Husky/Husaberg that would be just great one of the best in the world on a Husky
CAN WE SAY BIKE SALES
