• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi All,

Les Tinius had a very serious heart attack yesterday. He had a quadruple bypass at St Joseph's Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. He is alive - but the damage to his heart was severe. I am not usually a religious person - but in times like these, I am praying.

I drove up from Portland to his home near Bremerton, Washington today - I will be at his home or at the hospital for the next couple of days. If you have any suspension at his shop or on it's way - please contact me via Private Message with your phone number.

Praying is about all that can be done at these times ... I think Les can make a come back ... Maybe a small prayer can help that happen ...

SHIT!!! that just sucks. Having met Les several times I have to say he is one of the nicest dudes you can meet. Hoping the best for him and his recovery. Get well Les, we are all pulling for you. Man, that sucks, always seems to happen to the best of us :banghead:

Les is a great guy, I wish him the best in his recovery and will keep him in my positive thoughts. Get well Les

Please stay positive and myself and my family prayers go out to you!!! Be positive that can help!! I had a double bypass 2 and a half years ago and a stent put in a month and a half ago and they told me a small part of my heart was dead!! I'm faster then ever and stay positive and try not to think about it!! Be tough and get help and support from friends and family and godspeed please have a quick recovery.

Wow, best wishes for a recovery. I had my rear shock rebuilt and personally spoke with him on the phone; struck me as an extremely pleasant great person who cared about each and every one of his customers.

Best wishes to Les having a solid recovery. As a guy who has been walking around (and riding) with 4 stents for almost 5 years now I know that these days recovery and better health are often the outcome after a heart attack. My dad has been alive and kicking for 30 years since his quad bypass.

We're rooting for you Les.
