• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Les Tinius at LT-Racing (LTR) suspension - please pray.

Get better Les. I talked to Les on the 7th and he was his happy bubbly self..... Scary how fast things can change.

He speaks!!! First thing i did when i got back from Moab was look this thread up to see how you were doing. Good to see you among us again. Get well.

Thank you Drew! Thanks to all of you here at CH for your words of support and help. The Husky community has been very supportive and we do appreciate that. Still have a way to go in recovering from this but its a little better every day. It wasn't very long ago that I felt like a human being again just having all the tubes and appliances disconnected even though I was a walking black and blue bruise.

I know there was some Husky representation this last Sunday, April 29th at the benefit run for us out at Tahuya, makes me proud!

Roscoe & Jarna Rainey and the NMA president Tim Swartz put on a benifit ride to help me (unknown to me) I understand the ride was awesome, had a BBQ and it was a lot of fun! Afterwards Roscoe and his wife Jarna stopped by my place and dropped off a huge get well card signed by everyone along with a generous donation box to help us get by, it was pretty emotional for me, we had some immediate family members over at the time and they were amazed at what they have witnessed from all of you.

I just want to let you all know how grateful and thankful I am to be associated with so many good, generous people, the off road community is just plain incredible. I appreciate all of you so much. There is a little more info here; http://lt-racing.com/html/may1les__condition.html

Thank You again,
Les
