I just picked up a brand-new '09 TE 250 last night from my local dealer. He 'uncorked' it and installed the PU parts. The one thing that he did not do is remove the Lambda sensor.
I rode it a little last night, and it runs rough at low rpm, espically when you are coming into a corner with the throttle off, and start turning the throttle on and it seems like it wants to die, alomst like it is running out of gas. After a second or two, it gets going again. It seems to run pretty good with a little more rpm, but I am pretty easy on it until it is broke in.
Would removing the Lambda sensor help this, or is there something else that I should be considering?
One other thing I noticed, is that sitting in my garage, there were a few drips of gas on the floor. It looked like they were coming from up under the tank, the wiring harness has some gas dripping from it. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Dean
