• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics of your 610!

Thanks! How's the bike? Did you put the 14t on I sent you?

??? I never received a 14t? Maybe you're thinking of someone else? I took a 200 mile trip up on Skyline Drive last weekend. The leave aren't in peak season yet but it was beautiful none the less.

I have pulled the plastic off the bike and shipped it to a company that does sticker kits for motocross bikes. I'll be sure to post up some pics on that when I get her back together. Next is to contact Seat Concepts and set an appointment to have my seat worked on. My backside is looking forward that!

My bad, I mixed you up with someone else. Love to see how the plastics comes out! The seat concepts seat is a great mod and very easy to install yourself! All you need is a trim gun that takes 1/4" staples and 25 min.

My SM610 with offroad setup.

Looks like some nice territory, where abouts were you?

We started in Pioneer off of HWY 88, rode dirt down to HWY 4, headed west a bit then south on dirt to HWY 108, which is where the 2nd photo was taken. The clip on my needle destroyed itself and I had to wait for Eric to come back with the spare clip before continuing on over Sonora Pass. We hit Monitor Pass, then Carson Pass in the dark where I hit a deer. We did 300 miles that day, with 100 more dirty miles the next day :)

Did a little bit of dualsporting last weekend in the Sierra...

...And this thread loaded into my browser in a couple of seconds, for most of 2012 I could not view many of these threads cause my internet provider was too slow. Got a new internet provider a few weeks ago and everything is great again.
