    WR = 2st Enduro & CR = 2st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

Don't have any really good ones of the 360, just some garage shots.

There are 5-6 of us 2 stroke riders on this site and in the Portland area. We need to all hook up for a rip.

You got my number. How about a Husky day in the GP!?!?!
The sooner the better********************************************************************************!

That sure is a beautiful bike.:thumbsup:

Thanks, but it's really not that mint. It's just a rattle can job on the frame and tank. Tank has the fake chrome decals and Husky logo. But it's a racer, not a show piece. It does run and handle very nice for an old HOS.:D

I think it looks way good. Have you had this one for a long time?

On March 1, I signed up on a site specializing in talking about orange bikes. I figured I would add a 250 or 300 XC-W to my stable. What was I thinking? So, today, I can be forgiven as I brought this home. I've been telling people, the WR means, "Will Rippa You Arms Off!"

HA, ya, not so clean now, I busted the subframe so it parked for now
.

Thanks. It looks a lot better than it did.

I'm going to see if I can get something that looks like the what the CH Racing WEC boys are running.

We were supposed to go riding today, but it started raining last night and rained most of the day.:banghead:

That would definitely look the part!

How is the handling compared to your TE? Man, I wish they would put a nice new generation 300 2 stroke engine inside the new generation frame and weigh 235 ready to ride!
