  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Had my first race on the 300 last weekend, the Collingrove Hillclimb, round 1 of the SA supermoto race series, only got 3rd so it looks like I've got some work to do...

I'll put a video up in the vid thread.

Nothing makes a bike look sexier than race numbers:love:

Nice, i like the white rims.

Yes 454x, I found the company in this forum. Waveracing . Great customerservice, fast delivery. I had to cut a little bit around the footpegs but great parts with good quality.

You can order them direct from Waveracing in Italy. I have a set on my 300 which do a great job and look different from the usual alloy. There was a little bit of cutting to get them to fit, but overall very impressive.

I was thinking about a TM as well, but it was not in my budget. How do you like it?
I love it. It most certainly is a race bike and likes to go fast, the faster you go, the better and better it works. I've never had a bike that turns as well as this, it is light and you can just throw it down in corners. I'm learning the suspension as well, I've never had suspension with this much adjustability and I'm starting to make it work really well for me. I've got about 10 hours on it now and couldn't be happier.

I'll be racing the two ISDE qualifiers this summer and figured since I'm at both, I'll race LOI. Would be really cool to qualify for Germany this year.

Gosh, sounds just like my WR300!:D
