• 2 Stroke Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Italy - About 1989 to 2014
    WR = 2st Enduro & CR = 2st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

then....after 3 hours of beating myself into paste, something I've always wanted to do....ride my Husky to the bar that's 200y from the shop and down a couple Fat Tire ales. yup- I can ride to beers! total amount of asphalt ridden? 10 feet.

life is good in the mountains in January. *burrrrp*

funny- none of the quad riders there wanted to race the Porkinator, hahaha. BAROOOOP!!!

I traveled to Halls last weekend to pick up a 2011 TE 630 I had been interested in for several weeks. Bought the 630, then was looking over the remaining italian huskies they had. Hmmm. 2014 CR125 with a 144 kit. Price tag was $4,200. Hmmmm. Last one huh? I have been reading on this forum about how much fun these little bikes are to ride. Aw s#%t. Here's my visa. Load that little bad boy up! Never bought 2 bikes in one day and probably never will again. CR125.JPG

You are THE MAN! Ha ha...sometimes you just gotta go for it. Nicely done.

Not to mention you just did us all a huge favor. Next time the wife and I quibble over moto expenses or my next bike purchase, I can reference you "Hey honey, at least I didn't got to buy a bike and come home with TWO like that guy on Cafe Husky!"

That's the advantage of not having a wife to answer to.

I have a friend that lives about 4 miles from Barber Motorsports park. When his wife gets on him about the number of bikes, he tells her "but Mr Barber has 1200 bikes! I only have 8".

Its sort of street legal as I buy tags and register them but I don't put the tags on the bikes but have them in my bag usually. Too rough out on the trails and they take a beating and can get ruined ... I keep the lights off the bike to force me to get home before dark.

As long as I stay out of the the larger cities like Cebu City, there is no real problem with riding a dirt bike around these smaller towns or anywhere out in the mountains ...

You guys are a little more civilized over there so that usually means more law enforcement and control.

ahahah civilized? naaah...we got more crooked law enforcement than most other countries in the world :D

sweet! you'll never regret it. I've only had my WR for a couple of weeks, but already I'm loving it more than my 630. Dunno why they used lesser quality parts for the 630 than the smaller sibling. Like the radiator for example, mine cracked only after about 6 months of use. Just by comparing the two, the WR250's rads is thicker and looks stronger. Also, gaskets are already leaking on my 630. fingers crossed the WR won't go down the same road.
IMHO, the WR is a better bike in too many ways

Single Track. I just about have to ask where they are going on a ride before I go now ... I'm just getting too old to push my bike so much on the more difficult trails ...

ooh I hate snotty single track so much it hurts. especially those with multiple ruts...most of my spills are caused by multiple ruts...it's like your body wants to switch to the next rut, but the tires just won't :D

I like open tracks...more speed...but then again, this particular mountain we were at had different soil structure all over. one of it was by the cement quarry...some of the spots are literally like wet cement...Your tires plant into it. especially the front. so sometimes it's like that old videogame, Road Rash where someone throws an iron bar into your spokes and you flip over... :/

Bought a cheap Craigslist 02 CR250 because i really wanted a 02 CR250 and they never seem to come up for sale. It needs some love but is a solid ridable bike as its. Day I got it...
