  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi, this is a pretty WRK 125 model 87 here in Italy. This bike is the first Cagiva WMX endurized and Husqvarnized bike. This bike is rare here in Italy. Enjoy it

Here's my 88 WRK 125. Had it for over 20 years now. Still a fun bike if the hills aren't too big. Had to replace the ignition about 5 years ago. Put a piston, chain, sprockets on it once. It sat in a barn for 10 years unused. I probably ride it about 60 miles a year. Maybe enough to burn a tank of gas. I think I got my money's worth out of it. I'll have some other posts for the other 2 strokes.

Here's the 165 down by the river. Me and my neighbor have been cleaning it up and planting grass. There's a picnic table and a fire pit too
It's about 1/2 mile rock run to get down there, with a couple of small creek crossings. Great special test. I think I like the 300 with Rekluse better for this, it just motors over and through easier. The 165 feels so light it makes up for it almost.

Also got an Rtech TE plastic kit from Bill's, the tank shrouds, front plate and front fender are the same. Just recently modded the side panels and rear fender to fit. Had to notch for the muffler mount is all. I like the right side plate, but the left is shaped to fit over the 4t muffler and looks odd. I rode with though and didn't notice it at all. Once modded the kit mates almost perfectly, better than the original.

Just for looks I'll have to get a stock left side panel. The Rtech plastic is 100% Italian and is very nice quality.

That is weird, I bought an R-tech plastics kit (red/white) and I'm pretty sure it had the correct number plates for the 125's. *edit* I see you said you ordered a TE kit, derp.

The all white looks nice

I rode Sunday 2+ hours wfo and didn't notice the side panels at all which is a big improvement. I usually feel a panel catch my boot top every ride.

I have backgrounds in ITA colors but for stock panels which are bigger. The line on the muffler is where the stock panel makes contact.

I spent 3 days applying that damn tank sticker with multiple clear coats. Next race I get bounced into the bush, dump it in a thicket and gouge the right side

I ran a bit of inner tube around kicker when had the 165 pipe same as you. From memory if you rotate kicker back a notch or 2 it doesn't hit the pipe. Doesn't make much difference to starting as they're so easy to kick anyway! White looks cool man

I ran that same rear tire with Tubliss on my wr250 and it lasted forever. After countless rides I squared the knobby edges up with my flat track tire grooving tool and put another bunch of rides on it.

Throw a tool tube under the left number plate. I've seen it done before and it looks like it was meant to be there.
