Hi everyone,
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

gotta dump that muffler, your bike will have so much more power. tc449 exhausts will work on it too, there are lots to choose from

Here is a quick snap shot of the new Ti megabomb and ti factory 4.1 muffler on my 2011 te449, it sounds like a chopper, i love it. the only problem is that it backfires at high rpm, which is because of a lean fuel mixture. i have to order the jd jetting and that will give it a new mapping.

That Factory 4.1 looks trick and I'm sure it sounds bad ass. Does the Ti Megabomb bolt on easily, was it made specifically for the TE and was it required
in order to install the 4.1. I'm guessing that exhaust system gave it a nice boost. I would say the JD Tuner will be the icing on the cake. Not only will it give
it a new mapping, it'll give you even more power and the ability to tweak it to your liking. It's a "must have" mod, imo.

This is actually my husband's new bike, a 2011 TE250, I have money down on the 1st 2012 TE250 to come in at my local dealership. They are telling me March... We just picked this one up, it is all powered up and broken in. It was originally a demo bike from Husqvarna headquarters in CA. The graphics this one came with are kind of cool. I rode it for the first time today, I'm really glad the 2012 will be lower since I can only touch on tiptoes, but WOW! it is so much nicer than my old bike (a Yamaha XT225) can't wait for my new one to get here.
