  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

I like that 3 bikes in one! Makes me want to trade my 510 in on a 610 and get more use out of it!!!

Thanks. It really is a swiss army knife. It's been on trails that are better left to smaller more agile bikes but manages to get it done and it's gone on a couple of hwy. cruises that are better suited for touring bikes but it gets it done (it's actually a better street bike than it has a right to be).
The things it does best is wide open desert where it has a chance to strech it's legs and when it's outfitted for streetmoto it's a real hoot tearing up the canyons.

Yep, I second everything Rajo said about the mighty 610

I love my bike, and it has been simply devine no matter where I've ridden it.

Mile High Enduro 50th edition was in Cloudcroft NM last weekend. My first real time keeper enduro. Had a blast, two 45 mile loops one C the other A-B. The C loop was actually harder and had a really long knarly hill climb that had the bike overheating big time with the stock gearing. Rest of the trail was primo in the pines riding.

I placed 6th Open B. Dropped to much time on the hill. My buddy got 3rd overall on his BMW G450X

Skidplate is a Hyde with 1 inch holes cut to look like the Zip Ty racing bikes.

Droolsport, can you please make more pics of Hyde skidplate on your bike?
is it plastic? is it the same weight as original husky one?
do you think will it take beatings from the rocks?
thanx!

My street legal 06 TC510 - gotta love Az. I love this bike but my back just can't take the abuse of hard core off-road riding anymore, so I am looking to go dual-sport with a 610 if I can find one.:D

Testride with the new TE 250...

last month i make a 4 houres Enduro Race in Germany and can ride with the new Husqvarna TE 250. with this bike i have a lot of fun on the Race, and the bike works great, they come fresh out from the box and whe make ready for the race. I think the power from the new 250ccm Engine is like the same as on my 310ccm Bike Modell 2009.
