  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes!

hey ben love the look of that front disc guard and the protection it must give
how is it held in place and who sells them

It's the best design available. It is built to take the place of the the wheel spacer so it actually houses the axle. Better yet it is made by one of the sponsors of this forum. MOTOSPORTZ

Nice Bike bro, I got the same one! What size rear tire are you running? Have you ever tested a 160/60R17?

Thx :)

Only recomended dim here (150/60-17) and happy with the Dunlop qualifier for road usage.
Rear hardly lasted 3'000km, and front will probably double that.
Asked my tire dealer for 160/60-17 : he said he can install it, but i wouldn't be happy with it, because it will be out of shape on the stock rim

What i'd like to test now is a "big enduro" tire, like Michelin Anakee, Dunlop Trailmax, Pirelli Scopion Trail, but they only have 150/70-17 as the nearest dim.
Wonder if it would fit within the swing arm ??

Thanks, i have a friend that is a well known supermoto racer, and he said to just bite-the-bullet and buy a 5" rim. That way I have may more choices in the future.

I want to do that same set up, looks great. What did you do with the 02 sensor wire?

I bought mine with the stock Akra exhaust and the O2 sensor already disconnected by the dealer and in Map II. I believe all that needs to be done is disconnect the O2, jump the connector to go into Race Map II. The FMF Megabomb header does not come with an O2 Sensor option anyway.
