odd to see a WR without the rear hoop and WR rear fender
I have the original WR rear fender, but its so BIG.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

well, the 360 is tore down waiting for a rod..but there have been plenty of pics of it on here. the 84 240 wr is in boxes, frame needs picked up from painting. i have been gathering quite a few parts for it but dont really talk about it as theres nothing special going on. the 400 is in deep sleep boxed up with all the other spare stuff.Lets see some of the other bikes you own..
now that im used to them, i have to have them..I like the hand guards they take a beating by the brush and tree branches. That visor does too. I've rode visor down many times. Well for a split second.

the bike pictured above is really my 250xc bike with a "430 conversion"....the rest of the 87 430 is hanging in the garage attic and the 88 250xc mill is complete sitting in my engine cabinet. im afraid to run it any more hours without a piston, altho it still has great compression.
just a matter of where to put cash, right? the ford in the background has been taking more of my cash than any bike this year.
no, the truck is a "survivor"...has been kept away from salt. its nothing real special. 96 f150, 4.9 big six, 5 speed...ive done a nice electric fan conversion on it, and replaced/updated all sorts of stuff. overhauling the suspension currently...Same as my WR 250 engine, being saved and still mint. Did you rebuild the truck, motor and all?
well you are certainly at the right place! Here is my '83 125 XC that I just finished restoring. Now I'm on to getting it to run right...

My new addition to the shop...72 WR 250...picked it up at the York PA swap meet last month..plan on rebuilding, race it a few seasons then retire it and restore as a trailer queen..Still learning about Huskys...sure I'm going to have lots of questions.
