• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

davep01,
Will this come through Husky Sport UK? Per tadgh's suggestion I contacted them and they say they can get this, they are just out of stock at the moment. A fellow by the name of Reece told me to let him know what I wanted and he'd order it up.

Perhaps we US guys could organize a group purchase and save on the shipping.

Yes, the www.husqvarna-motorcycles.co.uk website with it's online shop is the national UK website run by Husky Sport for the UK dealer network. Reece is our Parts Manager (I'm the Sales & Marketing Manager). I'll get the online shop updated on the website over the next day or so then at least you have an idea of prices. Bulk shipment isn't a problem for us and in answer to a previous post regarding the lifestyle accessories we can do Paypal. I'll also check with HVA NA if they are planning to bring the stuff to the states direct and let you know.

I'm waiting to hear back if this is indeed the gear that Husky Sport can get for us. I sent them a pic of the jersey. I'd be glad to try and organize a group buy, unless this is something that Coffee would want to get involved with. I'm also not sure yet about the sizing of this stuff, assuming if it's Euro sizing it would be smaller than what we are familiar with. I'd hate to spend a bunch of money on something that I can't wear, so I want to get that right. I'll make the sizing inquiry as well. Chime in if you have any ideas on this.

Holy hell on wheels........that is unadulterated gunsight logo porn.

Count me in for some of that stuff too. In the meantime, I'll be moving my stuff to the garage. When the ol' ball-n-chain sees this on the doorstep, I'll be banished to there anyway.

Well, I'd like to know how much these items are going to cost (inculding shipping) and I'd like to know about sizes. I know European stuff tends to be sized a bit differently, and I don't want to end up with a jersey that goes to my knees, or a pair of size 32 pants that fit more like 34's or 30's. I just got a pair of Klim pants and had to order 30's, and they're a tad roomy. All my other riding pants are 32's.

I will commit once we get some cold hard facts.

Here is some information. I got this message back from Husky Sport with regard to the team jersey only. I think when davep01 gets the information up on the Husky site we'll know all the prices. I'm not sure how to compare the sizes yet, but we should be able to figure that out.

"We can get in sizes medium, large and x-large. These are all priced at £53.39 (excluding vat) each, plus shipping costs. These are all currently available at the factory, so will be easy enough to obtain."
