I have a 2008 TE450 with the factory power upgrade, arrow exhaust etc.
The bike has always started first go with no choke needed and runs great. Sometimes it is a little hard to start when it is hot but only needs 2-3 presses of the starter button.
One thing has me confused though. Every time I drop the bike which is mostly while going slow it usually stalls. I picked it up within 30 seconds or so and it starts straight away.
When I start riding however there is a drop of power low in the rev range and then a sudden burst when it "clears its throat" and takes off. But whenever you dip low down in the revs it continues to bog down. The only way I can eliminate it, is if I stop the bike and leave it on level ground for 10 minutes or so.
When I start it again it is back to normal. Has anyone else had similar problems and if so how can I avoid it? Although I am getting better at riding I'm still falling off every 15 minutes. It makes for a sow trip.
Thanks.
